NYC at Christmas
Everything they say about Christmas in New York City is true! Had an amazing vacation there with my parents. We had never been there at Christmas and the timing all worked out for us to be there mid-December so we got all the holiday festivity without all the last minute shopping crush. I was fixated on finally seeing the fancy window decorations at famous stores, I think that I had seen a documentary about the designers beginning almost a year in advance. They did not disappoint.
We walked our legs off and saw (and ate!) so much: the Broadway play Hamilton, the Met Museum, 9/11 Museum, Rockefeller Center, Chelsea Market, Eataly, and all places in between. I drove my parents nuts taking photos (they often left me behind, at least I’m not eight years old), but they appreciated it in the end
