About
I have been an avid cyclist for over 30 years, riding everything from mountain bikes to track bikes to road bikes, even my little green folding travel bike, Kermit. In 2018 I returned to my home town of Pittsburgh after 23 years living in Seattle where I was a dedicated year-round bike commuter to my job of 17 years at NOAA developing and managing data for environmental responses such as oil spills and hurricanes. I traveled all over the U.S. for emergency responses and to lead proactive training and coordination, keeping everything organized and in motion.
After spending some time helping a wonderful small business in Italy (that brass ring only comes around so often), I began a graduate program at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh studying Creative and Strategic Media to bring together communications and technology for local businesses. In December 2021, I defended my Capstone project and graduated with my Masters of Fine Arts.
