Italy Bike Hotels at the Toronto International Bike Expo
March 1-3, 2019 was the Toronto International Cycling Expo, which attracted thousands of local cycling enthusiasts ready for the arrival of spring. I joined eight other hotels at the Italy Bike Hotels booth to discuss our specific hotel amenities, regional cycling, and of course food. The most common question? “Where are the flat rides in Italy?” Answer: “There aren’t any!” But it was great to talk to so many people about Hotel Il Perlo and cycling on Lake Como for three days and even lose my voice. Italy Bike Hotels are not well known in the U.S. and Canada so spreading the gospel of this method of cycling travel was well worth the throat spray.
