Whiling living in Perugia for a month, I made two weekend ciclo-pellegrinaggio to Assisi. It was such a transformative experience, both to ride the in the tire tracks of Gino Bartali, and to soak in the spiritual home of San Francesco, Saint Francis. I couldn't recommend the ride more!
